The Benefits of a Bean to Cup Coffee Machine

Are you tired of getting up in the morning to prepare your coffee? Tired of the messy coffee grounds and the poor performance of your small coffee maker? If so, then perhaps you should take a look at a new type of machine – the bean to cup coffee machine. Although the name of this machine is sort of strange, it’s essentially an all-in-one system, which means that it will grind and brew in a single step. If you’ve never ground your own coffee beans before then you’re in for a treat. In fact, coffee aficionados recommend that coffee be ground just prior to use in order to retain the natural flavor and aroma of the beans.

Although these machines are typically marketed in the UK as “bean to cup coffee machines,” there are several companies that also produce them in the States, most notably Black and Decker. Actually, the Black and Decker Company produces a line of machines called the “Grind and Brew,” which allows users to dump a portion of beans into the hopper that is located toward the top of the machine. The user then simply fills the machine’s reservoir with water and activates the brewing cycle, which in turn causes the grinder to begin grinding. Moments later, the user has a fresh cup (or pot) of coffee waiting for them.

So, where do you find these machines, you ask? If you are looking for one of these machines in the States then you need to look for the Grind and Brew or something similar. You won’t find any machines here that go by the bean to cup moniker. In the UK, however, you can find them at a variety of specialty coffee retailers and also through some of the larger online retailers like Amazon. I should also mention that these machines aren’t cheap; in fact, you should expect to pay between $100 and $200 USD for some of the more basic models. Although this may sound like a lot to pay for a small coffee maker, your money will get you a machine that’s capable of brewing great coffee while allowing you to sit back and enjoy the experience.
