Wedding Outfits – Designer Mother of the Bride Outfits

Nowadays weddings are often planned by both the bride and her mother. Mother’s play a bit role in helping their daughters not also plan for the wedding but also paying for it. They help with the many details that entail preparing the wedding; details that can easily be overlooked by an overwhelmed bride. Also, the mother should look her best at her daughter’s wedding, and by wearing designer mother of the bride outfits she is sure to look absolutely sensational.

Wedding outfits are important on the day of the event. The bride is the protagonist on this very special day, but also her mother, the mother of the groom, the bridesmaids and other should look their best. Outfits by designers can look absolutely stunning and can be found in specialized boutiques and department stores. Condici, Paul Vasseur and Linea Raffaelli are some of the names that create fantastic collections; all beautifully designed gowns, suits and dresses to make the mother of the bride also feel special on the day.  The mother of the bride plays a very important role in today’s weddings and therefore these type of designer outfits have increased in popularity in recent years.

There are certain things to watch for, though. When planning a wedding, the stress can often create conflict between the bride and her mother. By allowing mothers to wear  beautifully designed gowns, brides make an important statement about their mothers’ importance at the event. There will be a lot of planning required; and to be able to wear the right outfit, dress or gown, a number of important factors have to be taken into consideration. If the bride is wearing a designer dress, she might want her mother to wear an outfit created by the same designer. Also, the color of the outfit is important. Black and white are an absolute no-no; while creams, champagnes, and soft colors are perfect for the occasion. Themed weddings might also require a particular look and style, so, as you can see, much more planning goes into the mother’s outfit than many people realize.

Mother of the bride designer outfits are created by professional designers and can be found in different sizes. It is always a good idea to talk to the mother of the groom in case she’s opt for the same designer and/or dress. In the wedding dress industry, though, professional designers can create unique dresses for both the bride and her mother, but it will come at a price. If your budget allows, you will have beautiful gowns to choose from; labels like chic, Sandra Vera, Ann Balon, Pressen and Jorgina and Ian Stuart will delight you with fabulous designs, the latter being one of the best known designers of mother of the bride outfits in Britain.

Paper Wedding Centerpieces

An usual but stunning idea for you wedding are paper wedding centerpieces. Paper can be used in many forms to create a variety of unusual and unique range of table decorations to astound and amuse your guests. Think of the effect a simple napkin beautifully folded can have on the table setting, take this simple idea a step further and you can introduce a range of innovative paper designs.

For a green wedding this idea could use totally recycled materials ensuring you have the best wedding centerpieces that say what you feel about the planet and its resources. A simple paper flower in a bright color, popped into a paper vase could be a simple wedding centerpiece, or really go to town and create a whole bouquet of paper flowers to adorn your tables Think about using corrugated cardboard tubes with the corrugated side on display on the outside and simply pop in some hand made flowers. The flowers could also be in corrugated card using both the flat and bumpy sides to form different effects.

Make individual flowers with wire stems, the stems then can be pushed into a potato or a small bag of damp sand, or play dough and covered with paper of your choice to form vases. The addition of brightly colored, perhaps silver or gold paper streamers tumbling down in lovely curls make a highly effective cheap home made bright interesting display. Think about an elaborately wrapped present and use this idea on the vase base. You could also use paper covered glasses, plastic pots, or Paper-Mache using paint, pens or colored paper to give a professional hand finished look. Consider using eco paints for the little details you may need, perhaps to add veins to the paper foliage or shading on the flower petals.

How to Make a Beach Wedding Centerpiece

Creating a beach wedding centerpiece can be easy, cost efficient, and yet still elegant. There are so many things that you can do with this theme, no matter if you want to go extravagant or simple. Here are two different ideas for you to consider. Try making both of them to see how they look and whether they will work with your overall decor.

The first is a floating candle beach centerpiece. You will need a bowl or vase, some sand, a candle, and some sea shells. All of these things can be purchased at a hobby shop, craft store, or more than likely any superstore. Take the bowl and fill it 2/3 of the way up with water. Next fill the bottom with sand. Drop in however many sea shells that you like. Then place the floating candles on top of the water and light them. The light of the candle will be luminous, while showing the water, sand, and shells. You can also put the names of the bride and groom onto the shells, along with the date or location of the wedding.

This next idea will take more effort to put together. You are going to need lots of sea shells in different sizes, a wreath or shape of some sort that you can glue the shells to, a small vase and a candle. All of these things again can be found at craft, hobby, or most superstores. You are going to take the sea shells and glue them together in a circular or square wreath. Next you should put the candle in a small vase, and place the vase in the middle of the sea shells. You can also glue flowers into the sea shells if you like.

Either of these options will be unique and elegant for your special wedding day. They will work on table clothes or picnic tables. You can also give your wedding centerpieces away as gifts to your friends or close family to thank them for sharing your special day with you.

Ideas for Budget Wedding Invitations

If you’re planning a wedding soon you’ve probably gotten your budget, checked prices and locations, etc. You usually have an idea of overall cost of a wedding but after looking at the little details you might shift some of your priorities around. Obviously the location and food or drink are, the wedding cake, etc. are some of the bigger costs and the wedding invitations are one of the smaller costs, but it’s something you can probably get done cheaply. You can have the invitations printed or you can actually print the yourself. If you’re going to have them printed there are a lot of online places that will print them for you, usually cheaper than a local printer. They have pre-made invitations, or different elements you can combine together to create your own look and style. Some of them allow you to design them using images from your computer and upload the files, they print them then mail them to you.

Another way to do your cheap wedding invitations is to do them yourself. There are wedding invitation kits that you can buy from any office supply store and print on your own printer. Obviously you can’t have engraved invitations but they can look nice and be much cheaper. You can also go the scrapbooking route, and use papers, ribbons and materials from a craft store. This is where you can really use your creativity, you can make your invitations unlike anything anyone else has. If you’ve got a large number of guests then you’ll probably have to enlist some help. If you decide that you do want engraved invitations, then you can still save some money. Don’t use the tissue in between the invitation, it’s a holdover from when people used quill pens, and it’s not necessary any more. See if you can outsource the envelopes from a company that has them cheaper. If you’re creative you can have that awesome budget wedding.
